HP Tunes

Rocket was asked by HP to create the visual design for their flagship Media Center digital audio player HP Tunes. HP Tunes allows HP iTunes purchasers to use the popular Microsoft Media Center Edition software to play their AAC format digital music. HP Tunes is currently the only ‘10 foot’ interface available for the iTunes AAC music file format. The design challenge for HP Tunes was to create a new visual style that could co-exist in the Microsoft Media Center Edition visual environment, yet embody the excitement and energy of the iTunes music. The response to HP Tunes has been overwhelmingly positive, by both the media and HP.
